WCCAC Supports Community by Loaning Art Display Grids

The WCCAC is loaning its art display grids free of charge to the "Help Haiti:  From Nashville With Love" fundraising event.The grids will be used to display artwork that has been donated by area artists for a silent auction. All profits from the sales will go to local organizations in Haiti. Here are details from silent auction coordinator, Juliana Erickson:

I'm heading up the silent auction portion of this fundraiser to benefit Haiti called "Help Haiti:  From Nashville With Love".  It is originating from The Acorn Restaurant and other "Nashville Originals" (local restaurants such as Park Cafe', Miro' District, Eastland Cafe' and more).  It will be Feb. 28, 5-8PM at The Farmers Market.   The entrance donation will be $15 that will cover all the donated food from the restaurants.  We're hoping to get the wine/beer donated for the cash bar.  100% of all proceeds are going to local organizations already in Haiti and will be 100% tax deductible.  The silent auction we did in 2 weeks for Katrina raised over $15,000 in one evening!  Are you interested in getting some donations for this Haiti event or helping in some other way to make it an even greater success?

Display Grids

The WCCAC owns approximately 100 art display grids that are available for rent at a modest $2 per grid for two days' use. The renter is responsible for picking up the grids, transporting them, setting them up, and returning them to the WCCAC.
